Melinda Jones

As the Director of Client Services and Staff Support at Fit Fundraising, Melinda Jones oversees all aspects of client service operations, ensuring exceptional experiences at every touchpoint. She manages and coaches team support, develops client support strategies, and leads initiatives to enhance client satisfaction.
A certified mentor and career counselor, Melinda has a passion for helping others achieve success in their careers and personal lives. She has served on the career development staff at Liberty University and Azusa Pacific University and currently sits on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations, including Fresh Start Mentoring, Fundraising Institute Training, and Burundi Hope. Melinda holds a master’s degree in Human Services from Liberty University and spent the first half of her career as a behavioral therapist for children with disabilities.
With over two decades of experience in fundraising, Melinda has met with hundreds of major donors and played a key role in fundraising event setup and operations for multiple nonprofits. She has also worked internationally as a volunteer with Mercy Ships International and World Help.
Melinda and her husband, Roy, have been married for 42 years. They have three sons and seven grandchildren and reside in Dunedin, Florida, near Tampa.
